I was awarded a fellowship funded by Crowd4SDG, a Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Action project focused on climate action, gender equality, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). During this experience, I applied machine learning and deep learning techniques to automatically analyze large volumes of images and metadata from social media platforms. The work led to the publication of a research paper, and the project was being further developed by a PhD student and Politecnico di Milano research team.
